I am committed to delivering lessons and will always endeavour to start the lesson on time. Due to uncontrollable traffic conditions, please be prepared to start the lesson up to 15 minutes before or after the allocated start time. If I will be more than 15 minutes late I will contact the student.
I require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or modify a lesson. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the student being held responsible for the lesson fee for the scheduled session. I reserve the right to request that all future lessons must be paid for in advance.
All lessons must be paid for in advance or upon the collection of the student for the scheduled lesson.
If, during a lesson, I suspect that a student is under the influence of alcohol or any other substance that may compromise their ability to drive safely, the lesson will be immediately terminated, and the customer will be liable for the full lesson fee. In such instances, I retain the right to decline further lessons.
The student is insured while operating the tuition vehicle when accompanied by me or a DVSA examiner.
It is expected that students wear clean clothes. No smoking or eating in the instructor's car is permitted. Any damage to the vehicle, internal or external, resulting from careless behaviour during lessons or a driving test may incur charges payable by the student.
By requesting lessons, the student affirms their licensing to drive the tuition vehicle. Students must present their provisional driving license before being allowed to drive for the first time and promptly inform me of any changes to their driving entitlement.
In the event that I am unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, mechanical breakdown, or inability to make an appointment, I reserve the right to reschedule the lesson at a mutually convenient time.
No student will be presented for a test unless I am confident that they are fully prepared. This policy also extends to re-tests.
